Take Me Home Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 9, 2026

Take Me Home (“Take Me Home,” “the App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a free public-service application provided by Small Business Resource Center Online, Inc. dba Harmony Senior Housing, a nonprofit organization.

We designed Take Me Home with privacy in mind. Take Me Home does not maintain a server-based user account system, does not continuously track users, does not sell personal information, and does not use behavioral advertising or behavioral analytics.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Take Me Home.

1. Information Stored on Your Device

Take Me Home may store information that you choose to enter or create, including:

·       Your name and local profile information;

·       Your Home address;

·       Up to three custom saved locations;

·       Trusted People names and telephone numbers;

·       Your navigation-app preference;

·       Your selected app settings and enabled features;

·       A manually saved parking location;

·       Your acceptance of the current Terms of Use and Safety Notice, including the version accepted and date/time of acceptance; and

·       Profile Change History.

This information is stored locally on your device.

Take Me Home does not maintain a server database containing your Take Me Home profile.

2. Location Information

Certain Take Me Home functions require access to your device's location.

Location may be used when you choose functions such as:

·       Finding a nearby emergency room;

·       Finding a nearby police station;

·       Finding other enabled nearby destinations;

·       Opening navigation to a destination;

·       Tagging or finding your parked vehicle;

·       Creating a current-location map link for a message to a Trusted Person; or

·       Using another function that reasonably requires your current location.

Take Me Home does not continuously track your location.

Take Me Home does not maintain a history of your trips or movements on our servers.

Take Me Home does not use your location for advertising or behavioral profiling.

Your device's operating system controls location permission. You may change location permissions through your device settings, although denying location access may prevent certain Take Me Home features from working.

3. Trusted People

Take Me Home allows you to save Trusted People locally on your device.

Before confirming a Trusted Person, you are responsible for verifying that the person's name and telephone number are correct and that the person has agreed to receive communications from you through Take Me Home.

Take Me Home does not maintain a server database of your Trusted People.

When you choose to text or call a Trusted Person, Take Me Home may hand the information necessary to perform that action to your device's telephone or messaging application.

4. Profile Change History

Take Me Home maintains a local Profile Change History to help you identify changes made to your profile or settings.

Profile Change History may record changes such as modifications to your Home address, Trusted People, custom saved locations, navigation preference, enabled features, or other profile/settings information, together with the date and time of the change.

Profile Change History does not record your trips, movement, navigation history, 911 activity, or general app activity.

Profile Change History is stored only on your device and cannot be separately cleared through Take Me Home. It is erased when you choose to erase your entire Take Me Home profile and app data.

5. Information Provided to Other Apps and Services

Take Me Home works by handing certain requests to applications and services selected by the user.

Depending upon the features you choose, these may include services such as:

·       Apple Maps;

·       Google Maps;

·       Waze;

·       Uber;

·       Lyft;

·       Your device's SMS/text messaging application;

·       Your device's telephone application; and

·       Other device or navigation services required to perform a function you request.

For example, when you choose navigation, information about the requested destination may be provided to the navigation application you selected.

When you choose to send your current location to a Trusted Person, your device may create a map link containing your current location and place that link into your messaging application.

When you choose a ride service, destination or location information necessary to initiate the request may be handed to the selected ride-service application.

Once information is intentionally provided to another application or service at your request, that application's or service's own privacy policy and terms govern its handling of the information.

Take Me Home does not control the privacy practices of third-party applications or services.

6. No Advertising or Behavioral Analytics

Take Me Home is provided free of charge and is not supported by paid advertising within the App.

Take Me Home does not use your profile, location, trips, or activity for targeted or behavioral advertising.

Version 1.0 does not include behavioral analytics intended to track how individual users use Take Me Home.

If these practices materially change in a future version, this Privacy Policy will be updated as appropriate.

7. No Sale of Personal Information

Take Me Home does not sell your personal information.

We do not operate a business involving the sale of Take Me Home user profiles, location histories, Trusted People information, or saved locations.

8. Device Backups

Take Me Home does not provide its own cloud profile-backup or synchronization service.

Your device or operating-system provider may separately back up or restore application data according to your device settings and the policies of that provider.

We cannot guarantee that your Take Me Home profile or settings will be restored if your device is lost, replaced, reset, damaged, or restored from backup.

If your information is not restored by your device's backup system, you may need to create a new Take Me Home profile.

9. Erasing Your Information

Take Me Home provides an Erase My Profile & App Data function.

Using this function deletes Take Me Home information stored locally by the App, including applicable:

·       Profile information;

·       Home address;

·       Trusted People;

·       Custom saved locations;

·       Settings;

·       Parking information;

·       Terms/Safety Notice acceptance information; and

·       Profile Change History.

Because Take Me Home does not maintain a server-based Take Me Home user account or profile database, there is no corresponding Take Me Home server profile for us to delete.

Uninstalling the App may also remove locally stored Take Me Home data, subject to the behavior of your device, operating system, and any device backup or restoration services.

10. Children and Families

Take Me Home is a general-audience navigation and safety utility. It is not specifically designed or marketed as a children's application.

Take Me Home is not a social-media service. It does not provide public user profiles, public chat rooms, social feeds, or communication with strangers through a Take Me Home network.

Take Me Home does not maintain children's Take Me Home profiles on our servers or continuously track a child's location through a Take Me Home service.

Parents and guardians are responsible for determining whether Take Me Home is appropriate for a minor in their care and for supervising the minor's use of the App.

We recommend that a parent or guardian assist a minor with initial setup, including the Home address, Trusted People, saved locations, and other safety settings.

11. Security

Keeping profile information locally rather than maintaining a Take Me Home server account reduces the amount of personal information maintained by us.

However, no device or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

You are responsible for maintaining appropriate security for your device, including its passcode, biometric protection, operating-system updates, and other available security features.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when Take Me Home changes, when our privacy practices change, or when necessary to comply with applicable requirements.

The effective date at the top of this Privacy Policy identifies the current version.

If a change materially affects information handling or requires renewed user consent, Take Me Home may require acceptance of an updated notice or Terms before continued use of applicable features.
