Empowering Seniors, Rebuilding Our Future
Harmony Senior Housing is a nonprofit charity steadfast in its mission to create affordable housing for seniors at 500 N 3rd St. Reading, Pennsylvania. On August 22, 2024, our journey faced a severe setback when our property at 500 N 3rd St Reading Pennsylvania experienced a partial building collapse.
This tragedy underscores the urgency of addressing blight and revitalizing our community. Despite this challenge, we remain resolute in our vision to develop a minimum of 244 affordable senior apartments in the heart of Reading. These units will provide much-needed stability, dignity, and safety for our senior citizens, many of whom are struggling with the rising costs of housing.
We are now trying to decide if we must demolish the building and perhaps create a better bolder project! We need your ideas and help!
